I would like to clarify my
(Phil Dean's) position and Computer HQ's policies: |
| Repair and service
at a rate of $57.50 per hour***, with further charges
incurred for such items as travel expenses, when
servicing or delivering a computer. For customers
requiring at home on site computer service
diagnostic charges begin at minimum of $84.91 per
hour + sales tax. Business contracts: charges begin at the low
end at $95.00 per hour + sales tax. |
| The customer is
responsible for any software for their computer.
This includes the software; such as OS 10, WINDOWS
XP or WINDOWS 7 (your computer's operating system) and any all
anti-virus software such as Norton's Anti-Virus, or
any Microsoft Office products. |
| Any needed software
such as an upgrade to operating system, new
operating system, antivirus software, or any other
"non-free" licensed software will be the
responsibility of the customer. The customer will be
charged for all such software installed on their
computer or the customer will provide licensed
software with a Product Key or Serial Number, before it
can be installed. |
| Free software such
as Window Washer or some of the SPYWARE protection
programs: trial version, evaluation version, or
basic version will not be charged for.
The labor time that was required to download these
programs onto the computer however DOES incur a
charge. |
| Computer HQ can not
be responsible for any hard drive failures which may
occur: prior to their arrival on our premises,
during the time the computer is here, or after it
leaves the premises except as are specified under
the manufacturer's warranty. |
| ***Multiple window
environments will incur an additional $50.00 per
environment over 2. |
